1. For the lines such as this, it’s actually reversed – “Ah, modesty Ah, incompetence is….” – in the lyrics, but that doesn’t make much sense in English, no?

2. This is something that would be said, for example, at the end of a performance. (It implies that this performance is over, but not the spectacle as a whole. If that makes sense!)
