Kurumi faces the difficult task of being the very first PV (promotional video) to be featured on this site. I for one believe that this is a burden it can easily bear. In its independent elements, this video is truly fantastic. There is no need to understand the lyrics in order to follow the simple yet heartwarming story-line, and one quickly finds themselves caring about the plight of our wannabe musician heroes. Surprisingly, although most emotions are conveyed through overblown facial expression, the actors remain consistently charming and authentic.

Kurumi is a fine example of music in motion, everything form the characters to the color palette fits the song perfectly. No elaborate special effects or miniature costumes on well-developed groupies are needed to draw your attention. This is probably due to a very talented director. Scenes are well paced, flow together seamlessly and the ambiance varies throughout, and is structured in such a way as to give the whole the traditional feel of an epic adventure. Finally the "twist" ending (I admit one has to have a relatively open conception of what a twist ending is to consider this, one) is probably one of my favorite all time music video endings. It just leaves you with a smile on your face...and a song in your heart.
